Fallbrook Senior Softball
Games
are played at the Ingold Community Sports Park
Fallbrook is
an unincorporated area of San Diego County, and our local parks
are developed maintained, and operated by San Diego County
Department of Parks and Recreation. The Fallbrook Sports
Association, a non-profit organization, formed a joint powers
agreement with the San Diego County Department of Parks and
Recreation to develop the Ingold Community Sports Park. The San
Diego County Department of Parks and Recreation, work with the
Fallbrook Sports Association to operate and maintain the Ingold
Community Sports Park including the softball fields with the
monies received from community donations, and fees collected
from sports teams and individual participants at the park. The
Fallbrook Sports Association maintains liability insurance for
use of the Ingold Community Sports Park with the Amateur
Softball Association (ASA). There is no medical insurance
coverage provided to any player.
Fallbrook
Senior Softball League
The
Fallbrook Senior Softball League was formed in January 2000. The
mission of this league is to enjoy the game of slow-pitch
softball and allow as many senior players as possible age 55 and
older to participate. In the Fallbrook Senior league softball
players are charged a fee established and collected by the
Ingold Sports Park in agreement with the Fallbrook Sports
Association at the beginning of each season. The senior softball
league continues all year with four+ seasons. Each seasonal fee
allows senior softball players to participate in the senior
slow-pitch softball league at the Ingold Community Sports Park.
Senior players and their guests are required to follow and
support the rules established for the Ingold Community Sports
Park. Rules governing playing of league games shall be in
accordance with the Amateur Softball Association (ASA), and
except as modified by the Fallbrook Senior Softball League.
